This summer we’re trying something a little different…

Introducing the very first Wild Weekend Family Adventure — a relaxed, fun-focused weekend designed to bring families, friends, and outdoor lovers together for the perfect start to summer.

Set in the beautiful Canal de Navarrés area, the weekend is all about easy adventures, time outdoors, swimming spots, good company, and making the most of those long summer days before the busy holiday season really begins. Think natural pools, gentle walks, hidden corners of inland Valencia, relaxed evenings, and a campsite atmosphere that feels more like a mini outdoor festival than a structured trip.

The idea behind the weekend is simple: create an accessible outdoor experience that works just as well for adventurous families as it does for people who simply want a social summer escape surrounded by nature.

Activities are planned to be fun and flexible rather than full-on or overly demanding, with a mix of water-based activities, short adventures, optional group activities, and plenty of downtime built into the weekend. Some people might spend the afternoon swimming and relaxing by the water, while others head off on a small hike, explore the area, or join one of the organised activities.

This is very much a first edition / feeler event — something new we’ve wanted to test for a while.

Our goal is to create three weekends across June that build a genuinely great atmosphere, with different groups of people all kicking off their summer in the same spirit: outdoors, social, adventurous, and relaxed. Over time we’d love for these weekends to evolve into a regular part of the Wild Weekend calendar, where people return each year knowing they’ll find good people, warm evenings, adventure, and that unmistakable early-summer energy.

As with all first editions, we’ll be learning and shaping the concept as we go, but that’s also part of what makes it exciting. It’s a chance to be there right at the beginning and help shape what these weekends could become in the future.
